If you just want to get rid of a laptop that you don't use anymore, and don't want it to go to a landfill than use this service. However, don't expect to actually get anywhere near your quoted amount. I'm not even sure if they ever actually paid me. I never got a notification from them about the laptops being received or payment. I honestly forgot about it for a couple months, and then checked my paypal when I remembered. I had a payment of $19 but there were no sender details. There's not good checklist options for filling out the quote either. I had a laptop that needed repair because its hinges were detached, but the computer still turned on, and I know for a fact that they could have been repaired. I selected poor condition and screen issues, since that was the closest option to show the laptop would need repairs when using the "GET A QUOTE" function. I was quoted for $75 for the newer laptop and $14 for the really old one, but I either received nothing or $19. It doesn't add up to me.
I am not the one who praises people or businesses. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even expect to get anything for my HP laptop. They offered a shipping box, paid for the label and so I wasn’t responsible for anything. I just wanted to get rid of the thing so pointlessly sitting on my shelf. I forgot about it once FedEx picked up the package, but two weeks later, without any notice, I am receiving a check in the mail which was enough to buy me and my lady nice romantic dinner. Thank you guys from Lauren as well by the way.
We like it it was very helpful. I have a somewhat older laptop that I wanted to trade in, and they were one of the only companies that would take it. Payout is fair and the customer service is quite helpful.
